This is the companion website for the paper “Private or Public Equity? The Evolving Entrepreneurial Finance Landscape” written by Michael Ewens (Caltech) and Joan Farre-Mensa (University of Illinois, Chicago). The paper’s title suggests that evolution has occurred and will continue to occur over time. Such a setting is not ideal for a fixed paper that presents a view of a snapshot in time. Thus, this website aims to be a living document that can continue to track changes in the entrepreneurial financing market and provide easy access to the data and resources behind the statistics in the paper.
